Eddy Jack Humphrey presents Unknown, a series of portraits where each subject’s identity remains unknown, yet they evoke a sense of familiarity. Using Artificial Intelligence, Eddy generates highly realistic images based on his prompts, though they sometimes appear distorted due to unusual shapes or forms. The process of generating hundreds of photos until he find's the best one, is very similar to the challenges of capturing the perfect photograph of a real-life subject. When painting these portraits, he incorporates his imagination, altering the facial features to enhance the sense of familiarity, resembling someone from the artist's life. This concept of not meeting the subjects yet developing a cohesive connection is the driving force behind his current artistic practice.
